Full-time Accounting Manager

A BPO Company based in the Philippines and performing restaurant and retail accounting for companies in the USA is looking for a local CPA to build and manage the accounting department. This position will communicate closely with the related party Company in the USA that manages and engages with the actual clients.
This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground level of a growth accounting BPO and grow with the Company while assuming high level responsibilities and competitive compensation and benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
• Build and manage the accounting department based in the Philippines
• Communicate and coordinate with the US side account managers on each client engagement
• Manage other accounting staff as necessary
• Adhere to all timelines
• Oversee/perform accounts payable function
• Prepare/review weekly and month-end accounting reporting
• Prepare/review client financial statements
• Analyze client financial data
• Review general ledger account support and workpapers
• Complete full cycle accounting duties and adherence to GAAP
• Complete special projects as necessary
• Must be able to multitask and work on several clients in a given day
• Four-year college degree or higher
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred
• 5-10 years’ experience in a related position
• Prior responsibilities supervising accounting staff on all needed functions
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule to overlap with the US side work hours
• Strong Excel and ERP skills a must
• Restaurant and retail experience preferred
